The following prizes are established:

FIRST PRIZE "ANDRÉS SEGOVIA"

Endowed with €10,000 and a special edition “Andrés Segovia” model concert guitar “Maestro”, by La Herradura luthier Stephen Hill, in addition to a recital and a masterclass at the Cervantes Institute in Munich with the collaboration of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich.

SECOND PRIZE "ANDRÉS SEGOVIA"

Endowed with €4,000 and a Martínez-Lázaro concert guitar model “Double top” special edition “Andrés Segovia” by Granada-born luthiers Francisco Lázaro and Javier Martínez, in addition to a recital at the International Music Music and Dance Festival “Ciudad de Úbeda” in its 2023 edition.

THIRD PRIZE "ANDRÉS SEGOVIA"

Endowed with €2,000 and an exclusive model guitar for the “Andrés Segovia” International Classical Guitar Contest, by the Alhambra Guitars team directed by luthier Javier Mengual

SPECIAL PRIZE “Diego Martínez”

Endowed with a travel grant of up to €1,000 to offer a recital at the 2023 edition of the “Noches del Castillo” Festival in La Herradura, to the guitarist best valued by the audience in the Final Round.

SPECIAL PRIZE “Leo Brouwer”

Endowed with €700, for the best interpretation of the obligatory work.

 

SPECIAL PRIZE “Association of Friends of La Herradura”

Endowed with €300, as a stimulus to the youngest guitarist who passes the First Round.

AWARD “Fundación Hispania Música - Concerto Málaga”

Consisting of a concert in the Foundation’s 2022/23 season, for the best interpretation of a Spanish musical work.

 

The rest of the participants in the Final Rpund will receive a “Finalist Diploma” and all the contestants who have passed the First Round, the Mayor’s Office of La Herradura of the Almuñécar City Council will provide free accommodation until the end of the Contest.
